STUDY IN NEW ZEALAND
There are around 4,000 Indian students in New Zealand &issued about 3,800 visas in this academic year. The job market in New Zealand is still hot. It is a good place to find work with good salary levels. New Zealand is the only country that provides a one-year job search visa, regardless of the course pursued by a student. Once you get a job, you can apply for two years of work permit, following which you can apply for permanent residency. New Zealand offers a safe and stable democratic political environment. Living and tuition costs compare well with other countries. Newzealand has two official languages- English and M?ori.
Auckland is the largest and most culturally diverse city of New Zealand. About one million people live in Auckland. The other major cities are Wellington, which is the capital city,followed by Christchurch and Dunedin.
There are 10 levels of study in New Zealand schools and universities. The lowest level is a certificate and the highest is adoctoral degree. Each level is more complex than the one below it. These are the names of our qualifications and their levels:
Certificates are levels 1 to 4
Diplomas are levels 5 and 6
Bachelor`s degrees and graduate diplomas are level 7
Postgraduate certificates and diplomas, and bachelor`s degrees with honours are level 8
Master`s degreesare level 9
Doctoral degreesare level 10.

New Zealand has 8 Universities, 25 Polytechnics and/or Institutes of Technology and about 440 secondary schools.
New Zealand eight national universities offering degree programmes in academic and professional studies. All universities offer a broad range of subjects for degrees in Computing &IT,Engineering,Commerce,Science and the Arts. Most degrees in New Zealand are for 3 years but there are also a number of degrees which take 4 years.

All major education providers are registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA),so you can be sure that you are studying for an approved qualification that has been assessed to ensure that it is high quality. Some private training establishments don’t use NZQA qualifications - you should check and make sure their courses are suitable for you.

One needs to complete the Application for Student Visa. The Application form is available at the NewZealand High Commission website and with your education consultants also. Along with this Application Form, you will need to include:
ü Completed Application Form and Supplementary Information Form duly filled.
ü 2 recent passport sized photographs (must beless than 6 months old) should be affixed to the Visa application form.
ü Visa Application Fee.
ü TT Services fee.
ü Original Passport.
ü Offer of place.
ü Covering Letter.
ü Statement of Purpose (Hand Written).
ü Financial Documents like Education Loan SanctionLetter/ Bank Balance Certificate, etc.
ü Affidavit of Support from Sponsorer.
ü Income Tax Returns for last 3 years ofsponsorer.
ü Income Tax Returns of parents, if parents are not the sponsorer.
ü Proof of Business like VAT registration Certificate of Parents business.
ü Copies of all Academic Documents from 10th Std to the highest level of Qualification duly attested or notarized.
ü Copy of Evidence of English language ability-IELTS Score Card.
ü Employment documents/ Work experience certificate, if applicable.
ü Police Clearance Certificate (Original).
ü Full Medical Certificates and TB Screening Report from approved panel Doctor.
ü Any other documents to help correct Visa Assessment on case to case basis.
Students will only be issued with a student Visa if they have enrolled in an approved course at an institution or establishment, which is accredited to offer it.
If you intend to study for the course duration of less than or equal to one academic year, you will need:
ü Documentary evidence of funds for tuition fee for the entire course duration + NZ$ 15,000 towards living expenses in New Zealand.
If you intend to studyin New Zealand for the course duration longer than one academic year:
ü Documentary evidence of funds for tuition feefor 1 academic year + NZ$ 15,000 per annum towards living expenses in New Zealand + payment plan to show that you have access to funds and have ability to meet the rest of the course cost and living expenses in New Zealand.
*Please note that land documents and/or property valuation will not be accepted as payment plan.
Acceptable Evidence of Funds:
ü Education Loan Sanction Letter from a nationalized or multi national bank only.
ü Latest Saving Bank account statements for the past 6 months. It should not be more than 1 week old at the time of lodgement of application.
ü Fixed Deposits.
ü PPF/ PF/ GPF Withdrawal amount.
ü Post Office Accounts.
ü National Saving Certificates, KVP, MIS.
What is Funds Transfer Scheme?
In this FTS the actual funds for living expense have to be transferred only after Visa Approval in Principle. The details are as given below:
ü FTS is an option given to the students who are genuine and don't have funds from last 6 months in the bank account of the parents/sponsorer.
ü The student will need to transfer at least 12months living expenses (NZD 15000) to a bank account in NZ, ANZ Bank, in addition to paying the tuition fee for 1 year.
ü The amount deposited in the bank is locked for a period of 12 months and then drip fed to the student on a pre arranged basis after the AIP (Approval in Principal) is received.
ü The Student will get NZ $ 1250 per month for their Living expenses in New Zealand.
Panel physicians are doctors and radiologists in Hyderabad approved by Immigration New Zealand to complete medical and chest X-ray certificates for New Zealand visa applications
